Providing education as part of humanitarian service gave rise to the establishment of Excellent Grade International schools by Amb. Chief (Mrs.) Regina Iroh, a philanthropist and a seasoned administrator. In the year 2002, the school began as a tutorial centre called ‘Academic Solution Center’ in a two (2) bedroom apartment located at Gado Nasko Road, Phase 2, site 2, Kubwa, Abuja.
In August, 2004 (2 years after), Excellent Grade Nursery and Primary School was established and commenced its academic activities on 6th September, 2004 in a six (6) bedroom apartments located at plot 14b Gado Nasko Road, Phase 4, Kubwa, Abuja. With thirty (30) pupils enrolled and a team of ten (10) staff made up of six (6) teaching and four (4) non-teaching staff. It was a little beginning which God has blessed immensely and helped to blossom.
Like any other new business then, EGIS had her share of the ups and downs of beginners. However, with much determination, persistence and the strong presence of God’s Favour the school moved to its permanent site at No.2, Reggy Emmanuel Road by Mopol station, Army Scheme, FHA, Abuja in January 2010. The name Excellent Grade Nursery and Primary School was change to Excellent Grade International schools.
Today Excellent Grade International School stands out in the community of top school in FCT with the standard and discipline. Every learner desirous of excellence ought to school at Excellent Grade International School.
